About AHRDC

Rwandan youth with disabilities encounter barriers to economic inclusion, education, and participation, worsened by mental health issues and stigma. Despite progress in disability rights, gaps persist in digital skills, economic empowerment, and mental health awareness, especially in rural areas. The African Human Resource Development Center (Center pf production) is addressing this by equipping young people with disabilities with digital skills for remote work and self-employment, aligning with Rwanda’s inclusive development strategies.
